We just wanted to reach out and provide a couple quick updates, most importantly, about an upcoming virtual town hall with Congressman Moulton. The focus will be on the Bipartisan Infrastructure Deal and Build Back Better Act.

In other news, Seth teamed up with Rep. Jim Clyburn of South Carolina to co-author an op-ed on why their GI Bill Restoration Act is needed. As many might not know, Black WWII veterans were denied the raft of benefits afforded to their white counterparts under the GI Bill. This legislation, introduced by Reps Moulton and Clyburn along with Senator Raphael Warnock of Georgia, seeks to remedy that by providing the families of those Black veterans a transferable benefit that their descendants can use to attend college, secure housing, start businesses, and build generational wealth. 

And, on the elections front, Seth was proud to endorse Boston City Councillor Lydia Edwards in her upcoming special election contest for State Senate, as well as endorsing the successful campaign for now State Rep. Jamie Belsito. Congratulations Jamie, and best of luck to Lydia!
