Dear Rockport Democrats, 

It is my great pleasure to inform you that the Rockport Democratic Town Committee will be meeting via Zoom this Saturday Morning at 10:00.  I’ll send out the link in a separate email but wanted you to know ahead of time so you could plan to attend. After such a long time I am looking forward to see you all and starting up the establishment of monthly meetings

Old Business

Secretary’s Report:  A copy of the minutes of the virtual meeting of the RDTC on 5/7/22 was emailed to all members.  

Treasurer’s Report:  We currently have $2464.21 in the bank account.  Collected $650 from dues (26 out of 33 members have paid) and $195 from gifts.  We have money to spend on signage and supporting the Democratic Headquarters in Gloucester.

New Business

We have an invited guest, who will speak about the Fair Share amendment. 

Future plans:  The RDTC will host a forum/debate between the two candidates for Essex County Sheriff.  To be finalized dates;  Saturday, July 30 @ 10 or  Thursday, July 28th at 7 pm

General discussion regarding future debates in the Fall:  e.g. The Fair Share amendment , the District Attorney race.
