In non-presidential election years, Democrats typically fare less well than in presidential years. This year, more than others, your vote is important to ensure victory.
If the number of Massachusetts voters who voted in 2016 vote again this year, candidates with progressive values are assured of victory up and down the ballot.
Please make an effort.
And, don’t forget this year, you don’t have to wait until election day to cast your ballot.
Cape Ann cities and towns are making early voting available prior to the Nov. 6 election. Below is the schedule for Rockport.
If you can’t make it to the specified locations or to your polling place, you can vote by traditional absentee ballot. Absentee balloting is available now. Call the Rockport Town Clerk at 978 546-5000 X 40122 or the Cape Ann Coordinated Committee at
978 865-3699 for directions or assistance.
