Canvass in Gloucester this Weekend

Jay Gonzalez to kick off canvassing effort
in Gloucester on Saturday

Democratic gubernatorial candidate Jay Gonzalez will be in Gloucester on Saturday, Oct. 6, to lead help kick off a canvassing effort on Cape Ann. Gonzalez is scheduled to appear at the Cape Ann Coordinated Campaign headquarters, 2 Duncan St., Gloucester, at 10 a.m.

Door-to-door contact is vital to our success this fall. If we can get people who don’t usually vote in off-year elections to turn out, we have a very good chance of winning up and down the ticket.

Upcoming Cape Ann canvasses

Saturday’s canvass begins an intensive effort to reach out to as many voters as possible between now and Election Day.  Canvasses are scheduled every Saturday and Sunday through Nov. 6.
The list below shows individual canvasses that you can sign up for. Please click on one or more of the links. It’s a great time to meet your neighbors and share experiences with fellow Democrats.

If you this schedule doesn’t work for you, but you have some time to spare you can reach out to Alice Janigro, our field office coordinator, who will work with volunteers on a case-by-case basis to send them walk lists and materials.

In addition, Get-Out-The-Vote (GOTV) canvassing begins on Oct. 22. From then until election day canvasses will be happening every day. We will alert you when the schedule is finalized.
GOTV (Get-Out-The-Vote) Training will be held at coordinated campaign headquarters at 2 Duncan St., Gloucester, on Monday Oct. 15 at 6 p.m. To sign up for this specialized training and canvassing, click on the link below:
